Today, the annual meeting of Festa - the Center for Sustainability, took place at Reykjavík University, where Festa is based. As in previous years, JCI took over the chairing and recording of the meeting.

Þórólfur, Málfríður and Kolbeinn are new members of the board.

At the beginning of the year, Reykjavík University appointed a new member to the board, Bryndís Björk Ásgeirsdóttir, but according to the company's articles of association, the university has a seat on the board as Festa is based on the university's premises.

Jón Geir Pétursson, Ægir Þórisson and Birta Kristín Helgadóttir are stepping down from the board. It is no exaggeration to say that their contribution to Festa's work in recent years has been invaluable and we owe them our heartfelt thanks for their selfless work. Their extensive experience, insight and knowledge have supported the work and, no less, the growth of the company. We wish them all the best and look forward to continuing to work with them in the field of Festa and sustainability.
