Regarding the incentive award for the sustainability report of the year

In recent years, Festa, in close collaboration with the Icelandic Chamber of Commerce and Stjórnvísi, has awarded an annual incentive award for the year's sustainability report. We have made an effort to highlight those parties that have been exemplary when it comes to taking big steps in providing information related to sustainability in their operations.

The award was first presented in 2018, but developments in this area have been extremely rapid in recent years. Icelandic companies have shown great ambition and willingness to do well in their disclosure, and in recent years laws and regulations have been introduced that set clearer lines and rules of the game. In light of these changes and developments, we have decided to shift the emphasis in this collaborative project of ours and stop awarding the award for the report of the year.

We are extremely proud of this collaborative project and the awareness-raising it has contributed to, and look forward to continuing our good collaboration in the field of sustainability with the Icelandic Chamber of Commerce and Stjórnvísi.
