Festa - Center for Sustainability took the opportunity to submit a comment on the government's climate action plan. In the comment, we welcome collaboration with the business community and the activation of the private sector for sustainable solutions. However, we believe it is important that some of the measures are implemented in a clearer manner and that efficiency is ensured through better integration with other government programs. Festa also emphasizes the importance of dialogue between the government and the business community. "We sense great interest and willingness among our member associations to participate and be a leading force in climate action. We are convinced that by providing assistance in the right places and through active collaboration, the business community will play a key role in achieving Iceland's climate goals. As an organization dedicated to sustainability, we at Festa are in a good position to bridge the gap between the public and private sectors and support the further implementation of some of the measures."
