April 26, 2021
Festa's annual general meeting took place at Reykjavík University on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. JCI Iceland chaired the meeting, as in previous years.
Tómas N. Möller, Chairman of Festa, and Hrund Gunnsteinsdóttir, CEO, presented Festa's annual report for 2020 – which can be accessed here. The report provides an overview of what happened at Festa in 2020, both in words and pictures, and what the main projects, events and emphases were. The report can truly be read for both benefit and pleasure – a thoroughly enjoyable read.
The meeting was preceded by a proposal for amendments to Festa's articles of association, all of which were approved. These amendments can be found in more detail here.
The Festa board was elected by popular vote, but three vacant seats were filled. The current members of the company's board are:
- Arnar Másson, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Marel
- Jón Geir Péturrson, dósent við Háskóla Íslands
- Ægir Már Þórisson, CEO of Advania.
Þá var Tómas N. Möller endurkjörinn sem formaður Festu.
