Hvernig geta fyrirtæki nýtt sér tilmæli Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) til að meta og greina frá sínum áhættum og tækifærum tengdum loftslagsmálum í sínum rekstri?

Festa, Marel and Íslandsbanki invite you to an electronic morning meeting on April 14 at 9:00 a.m. At the meeting, we will hear from the Minister of Tourism, Industry and Innovation and experts from Íslandsbanki and Marel about the impact and assessment of climate risk on business operations.

We will gain insight into the journey of companies and financial institutions, as well as hear from the minister about the government's priorities when it comes to laws and regulations on annual accounts and climate disclosure today and in the coming months.

  • Kristján Rúnar Kristjánsson, Head of Risk Management at Íslandsbanki, discusses how the bank is increasingly placing emphasis on sustainability and climate risk in both lending and internal operations.



  • Panel discussion – questions “from the audience”
  • Þorsteinn Kári and Kristján Rúnar, along with Harpa Theodórsdóttir, an expert from the Ministry of Industry and Innovation, will be answering questions.

  • Umfjöllun um vegferð Marels: Marel has also committed to integrating the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) into Marel’s 2021 climate-risk reporting.



  • Íslandsbanki became the first Icelandic supporter of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). The bank's risk report (Pillar 3) for 2020 will include a dedicated section on sustainability and climate risk for the first time, following the international TCFD guidelines.

  • Reglugerð (ESB) 2019/2088 er mælir fyrir um samræmdar reglur fyrir aðila á fjármálamarkaði og fjármálaráðgjafa um gagnsæi að því er varðar samþættingu áhættu tengda sjálfbærni.


  • Reglugerð (ESB) 2020/852 kveður á um samræmdan ramma sem stuðlar að sjálfbærum fjárfestingum. Með reglugerðinni er komið á fót flokkunarkerfi með skilgreiningum á því hvað teljist sjálfbær atvinnustarfsemi.
