New name, new board and annual report

Fimmtudaginn 19.maí 2022 fór fram aðalfundur Festu, fundurinn fór fram í húsnæði Háskólans í Reykjavík og eins og síðustu ár fékk Festa JCI til að taka að sér fundarstjórn og hlutverk fundarritara.

New name

Fyrir fundinum lá ein tillaga að breytingu á samþykktum og sneri hún að nafni félagsins ( 1.gr. samþykkta). Aðalfundur samþykkti tillöguna og hefur því nafni félagsins verið breytt úr Festa – miðstöð um samfélagsábyrgð yfir í Festa – miðstöð um sjálfbærni.

New board

A new board was elected at the meeting, and the following representatives of member associations will form the board of Festa in 2022-2023:

  • Tómas N. Möller – Merchants' Pension Fund, 2021-2023. Chairman of the Board
  • Jón Geir Pétursson – Háskóli Íslands, 2021-2023
  • Arnar Másson – Marel, 2021-2023
  • Ægir Þórisson – Advania, 2021-2023

  • Published by Kristín Helgadóttir – Iceland Center/Grænvangur, 2022-2024
  • Rakel Eva Sævarsdóttir – PLAY, 2022-2024

Aðalheiður var á fundinum endurkosin til tveggja ára, Rakel Eva og Birta Kristín koma nýjar inn í stjórn félagsins

Erla Tryggvadóttir, who has been vice-chair for the past two years, and Ingibjörg Ólafsdóttir are stepping down from the board. Festa would like to thank them for their strong contributions to the company, as both have shared their knowledge and experience with great generosity and supported Festa's work well over the past two years.

Reykjavík University will also appoint a new member to Festa's board in the coming year, a role that Hrefna Briem has held since 2014. Hrefna has started working as the Director of Change Management and the CEO's Office at Kerecis, which is one of our member companies at Festa. Hrefna's contribution to Festa's work over the past eight years is truly invaluable, as she has actively participated in the development of the company through countless challenges and opportunities.
