Nominations for Loftslagviðurkenningar 2021

Nominations are invited for the City of Reykjavík and Festa Climate Recognition Award for 2021. Companies, non-profit organizations, institutions or individuals can nominate. Nominations must be received by October 27th, but the award will be presented at the Climate Conference on November 19th in Harpa (more information about the conference).

The goal of the recognition is to draw attention to the good work being done in climate issues and to serve as an incentive.

In 2020, it was the National Hospital that received the Reykjavík City Climate Award, while Carbfix received a special innovation award.

Viðurkenningin var veitt í fyrsta sinn 2017. Þau sem hafa hlotið viðurkenninguna hingað til eru:

• 2020: Landspítali. Carbfix hlaut nýsköpunarverðlaun.

• 2019: EFLA verkfræðistofa

• 2018: Klappir Grænar Lausnir hf. In addition, 3 were nominated: ÁTVR, Efla Engineering Office and IKEA.



• 2017: HB Grandi. In addition, the website lopfslag.is received an educational and information award for climate issues and ISAVIA received an incentive award.
