Crucible meeting – the first steps towards sustainable operations
@Electronic event

Festa invites its member associations to an electronic Crucible Meeting on May 10th at 11:00.
Dr. Snjólaug Ólafsdóttir, Director of Sustainability Consulting at EY Iceland, and Viktoría Valdimarsdóttir, owner of Ábyrgri losn ehf, will welcome guests and moderate the meeting. After an informative talk, they will have a conversation with the meeting attendees.
New Purposeful and thoughtful policy formulation is the focus of the first steps towards sustainability in operations, and the value of a good sustainability policy does not only lie in the dissemination of information to the outside world, but also in supporting the company's overall strategy and its ability to achieve success in all areas. The foundation of the policy then lies in targeted analyses of the operations and the environment and active dialogue with stakeholders.
At the meeting, we will focus on the first steps when it comes to building a sustainable business: how do we connect sustainability policies and projects to core operations, how do we get all employees on board and build a workplace culture that supports the sustainability journey, and what analyses do we need to undertake in order to be able to set goals and policies when it comes to sustainability?
- Fundurinn er eingöngu opinn fyrir aðildarfélög Festu, en engin takmörk eru á fjölda fulltrúa frá hverju aðildarfélagi.
- Registration is required and registered attendees will be sent a zoom link the day before the meeting (please note that it may end up in your spam folder)
