Festa's annual general meeting will take place on March 27th at 4:00 PM at the Reykjavík University campus.

The right to attend the general meeting and have both the right to be elected and to vote is reserved for members who are free of debt to the association one week before the meeting. The registered contact person of each member association has the right to vote on behalf of the relevant association.

 

A formal meeting notice was sent to Festa's member companies according to the company's articles of association.


Stjórn óskar eftir framboðum til stjórnar og til embættis formanns, framboðsfresti lýkur einni viku fyrir aðalfund, það er 20. mars 2025.  Áhugasöm eru bent á hafa samband við kjörnefnd sem skipuð er í samræmi við samþykktir félagsins. Hana skipa nú líkt og undanfarin ár: Þröstur Olaf Sigurjónsson og Ásthildur Margrét Otharsdóttir. Framboð sendist á netfangið festa@sjalfbaer.is.   



This year, there are five board positions up for election. Two co-director positions are up for election for one year, two positions are up for election for two years, and a chairmanship for election for two years.

 

  • Málfríður Guðný Kolbeinsdóttir (Ölgerðin) will step down from the board of directors as of the annual general meeting.
  • Aðalheiður Snæbjarnardóttir (Landsbankinn) hefur þegar vikið úr stjórn.  
  • Arnar Másson (Marel), Þórólfur Nielsen (Landsvirkjun), Kolbeinn Hilmarsson (Svarmi) og Tómas N. Möller (Lífeyrissjóður Verzlunarmanna) eru allir að ljúka sínu kjörtímabili. Eingöngu Kolbeinn mun gefa kost á sér til áframhaldandi stjórnarsetu.  
  • A chairman must be elected as Tómas N. Möller will not stand for re-election.


Rakel Eva Sævarsdóttir (Trail) remains on the board, having been elected for a two-year term at the association's 2024 annual general meeting. Bryndís Björk Ásgeirsdóttir, appointed by Reykjavík University, where Festa is based, will also serve the next term.


It is a condition for eligibility that a candidate be an employee of a member association and that the member association is free of debt to the association one week before the annual general meeting or that the candidate has an individual membership in the association and the individual in question is free of debt to the association one week before the annual general meeting.
