Deiglufundur – Sjálfbærni upplýsingagjöf

@Electronic event

At the last Deigla meeting before the summer break, we will examine the situation of Icelandic companies when it comes to sustainability disclosure.

How are Icelandic companies performing, what is exemplary, and where do we still need to take big steps?

EU legislation is now coming into force that will both impose more detailed requirements when it comes to sustainability reporting and at the same time expand the group of companies that need to consider standardized and certified sustainability information in annual reports. At the Crucible, we will learn about this legislation and other upcoming changes in this area.

Reynir Smári Atlason, Director of Sustainability at Creditinfo, will give an informative talk, and Reynir has been one of our leading experts in this country on these issues in recent years.

We invite them to a panel discussion where Jóhanna Hlín Auðunsdóttir, Director of Climate and Green Solutions at Landsvirkjun, and Stefán Kári Sveinbjörnsson, Project Manager in Strategy and Sustainability at Isavia, will participate along with Reyn - and will then take questions and have a conversation with the meeting guests.

  • But the three of them now form the jury for the second year in a row for the Sustainability Report of the Year incentive award, which will be awarded on June 8th in collaboration with the Icelandic Chamber of Commerce and Stjórnvísi – see more here: Sustainability Report of the Year 2023 – nominations requested (12/4-17/5) – Festa (samfelagsabyrgd.is)
