Festa invites member associations to a meeting on October 4th, where we will discuss the current issues: Biodiversity.

At the meeting, we will present to you a new Roadmap that Festa has been working on in recent months, which addresses the role of the business community in protecting biodiversity. A large and diverse group of experts from business and academia contributed to this work.
At the meeting, which is electronic and open to all Festa member associations, we will hear from experts who work on these issues in the business community and at the Institute of Natural History.
At the meeting we will discuss, among other things:
- Why biodiversity matters
- Hvernig íslensk fyrirtæki geta tekið þátt í að vernda líffræðilega fjölbreytni
- Operational metrics related to biodiversity
- What were the focuses of COP 15, the United Nations conference on biodiversity?
- What are Iceland's plans in this area?
- Upplýsingagjöf og ný löggjöf Evrópusambandsins
The meeting will be moderated by Rakel Sævarsdóttir, who sits on the board of Festa and has led this work on behalf of the company. After the presentations, there will be a good opportunity to ask questions and participate in discussions.
